A New Way to Give
Milwaukie Church now offers a giving option that may be more convenient for some of our contributors -
Electronic Giving (eGiving). This new giving option will work similar to how you may already have your mortgage, insurance premiums, or utility bills paid. Your gift can be automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account and go directly to our church!
Here is how it works: You authorize a specified amount of money to be electronically transferred directly from your checking or savings account to MFBC. You also specify the frequency of your giving. It can be weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly. You can allocate your giving specifically. You can also give additional gifts.
It is fast, safe, and easy! In fact, it is less risky than checks, as it cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed, and has a high rate of accuracy. There is no additional cost for eGiving. Read about important benefits of eGiving.
MFBC will issue a donation statement for your yearly tax records, and your bank statement will provide you with additional proof of your contributions. Of course you can cancel your eGiving at any time by notifying us.
To sign up for this new giving option and have your donations transferred electronically on a regular basis, you may fill out the printable authorization form and return it to our financial Secretary, Eileen Geiter.
